Nana was a hard worker all of her life. She worked as a stable maid, a house keeper, a coffee table (until her arthritis got the best of her) and finally a baker. Always the diligent employee, she often worked all night to get orders prepared for the next morning. Once, when a truly large order came in for a World's Fair, she stayed awake for days on end, baking until she was dead on her feet and had worked her her hands to the bone. And while her skin became as dry, crusty and flaky as the pastries she prepared, Nana did complete the order on time and under budget. Amazingly, even through the rush, she still managed to create the yummy confections in her own unique style. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears (mostly blood) but no one could deny there was a little bit of Nana in each and every delicious crusty and flaky morsel. High fiber cookie anyone?

Ghoulish Factoid: If Nana looks familiar, you're not crazy - she takes some of her inspiration from one of the pop-up ghosts seen in The Haunted Mansion. Of special interest: this changing portrait features one of the most dramatic and detailed changes we've done to date yet has absolutely no bleed through from one image to the other. You'll only find this level of quality at The Ghoulish Gallery.
